Conflict Minerals Policy Statement

AJ’s Power Source, Inc. (AJPS) is committed to sourcing components and materials from suppliers that share our values around human rights, ethics and environmental responsibility. We expect all of our suppliers to do the same. We also require all suppliers to comply with applicable legal standards and requirements.

On August 22, 2012, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) issued the final conflict minerals rule under Section 1502 the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the “Conflict Minerals Rule”). The Conflict Minerals Rule requires publicly traded companies to report annually the presence of conflict minerals (tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold, or “3TG”) originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries (“Covered Countries”).

AJPS is committed to ethical practices and our objective is to have a conflict-free supply chain. We are also committed to complying with any requirements applicable to our Company under the Conflict Minerals Rule and will assist our customers in implementing their conflict minerals programs. We strive to work cooperatively with our customers and supply chain partners in implementing cohesive conflict minerals compliance programs.

AJPS does not source directly from smelters or mines and we recognize that the metals supply chain is complex and global. We are working closely with our own suppliers to understand, to the extent possible, the sources of the metals contained in the products they supply to us. We expect our suppliers to adopt policies consistent with the SEC’s Conflict Minerals provisions and that they will put in practice steps to ensure that the minerals they include in their products are responsibly sourced.

Each supplier to AJPS that provides products that include Conflict Minerals is required to submit their sourcing information using the EICC-GeSI Conflict Minerals Reporting Template or other similar template that traces the metals back through the supply chain. If we become aware of a supplier whose supply chain includes metals from a conflict source, we will take the appropriate action to remedy this situation in a timely manner, including reassessment of supplier relationships. We expect our suppliers to take similar measures with their suppliers to ensure alignment throughout the supply chain.
