Our overall concept consists of a .120 aluminum sealed case with thermal dispersion via our external heat sinks. This fan free design and will meet all temperature requirements without external or internal airflow. This unit will be designed as an outdoor, ruggedized unit, military power system. The system will be designed with universal, AC input and two separate outputs. The output will be 28VDC at 1000 watts. The unit will provide two output connectors both capable of supplying 100% of the load at one time, or each one can produce 500 watts per output connector if both connections are made at the same time. Both outputs will be circular style connectors. This power supply is designed with weight and size in mind.
The UPS system has been designed to comply with all of the radiated emissions, susceptibility and conductive emissions requirement of the applicable sections of MIL-STD-461E. These techniques have been used successfully by AJPS to comply with these standards many times in the past. The following is a list of methods used for controlling emissions:
